Will provide you with valuable insights and knowledge to enhance physical, mental, and emotional well-being as we age. Below are the sessions that will be covered in the summit.
PLAY is such an incredibly powerful tool to change emotion and mental challenges in clients yet often overlooked in programming. Imagine smiling and laughing whilst moving in a manner that mimics life challenges. Playful challenges that empower clients to breathe, improve vitality, enhance movement and stimulate connection and trust ion a relationship. Longevity is about all components of life, emotion, mental, physical and spiritual. If we arenât involving all of these, then we arenât addressing the true process of longevity. Our goal is to create a positive, effective and enjoyable environment for our clients, there are not many clients who I have coached, who have experienced these three components with traditional Movement Professionals.

Recovery is the new term in our industry, yet very few can define it or coach their clients through recovery. In this session we will share our definition of recovery, enabling everyone to have a starting point and a finishing point and to be on the same page. You will then experience the feeling of recovery both prior to exercise or physical activity and post, and tissue response. An inclusive approach to creating a positive and enjoyable outcome for the tissues to prepare for the next challenge. If you think hot and cold immersions are the only form of recovery, then you will be pleasantly surprised at how simple or complex recovery can be.
As we age, our bodies and our minds go through a transitional phase, and this often results in challenges in responses both from a physical and mental aspect. It leads to other aspects that create doubt and fear as well as loss of confidence.
It doesnât have to be this way! Join our veteran master Trainer Laraine Dunn as she explains how we can meet these challenges and how to then put them into a practical format so the goals are achievable and fun. A hands on informative session that will get you inspired and looking forward to your next Workout.

Aging is inevitable and we now have a wealth of knowledge regarding the challengesfaced as we move through the decades and the need to adapt our routines to ensureoptimal health and engagement in life. There is no shortage of information on whatwe should be doing, as this summit has/will show(n), however, knowing what to doand actually putting it into practice can be far removed from each other. If we continually tell people what to do, the âadviceâ may be received with goodintentions yet still not acted upon. What we need is a different conversation and thisis where coaching comes in. When we take a coaching approach, we focus onaspects of behaviour change that go far beyond prescription and can lead to a muchgreater commitment to action.
This session will explore key elements that are used by health and wellness coachesand can be integrated into the work of any Allied Health Professional who issupporting clients who wish to flourish with age, yet who struggle at times with theexecution of the information received!

In this session we will look at the importance of grip strength and how keeping our hands strong is a key factor in us staying independent and functional. We will use the TRX YBELL to incorporate grip challenges into movement and look at how maintaining a focus on grip can increase not only hand strength, it can also increase other joint awareness and stability. We use our hands all day but, we rarely focus on strengthening them and improving their ability to perform daily tasks.
